Alexier Barbour is a native of Naples, Texas, a small northeast Texas treasure. She graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Marketing (Cum Laude) in 2007. After a successful career in the corporate sector, Alexier went on to attend Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During law school, Alexier was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and served as Vice President of Judicial Relations. In her third year of law school, Alexier had the distinct privilege to successfully represent an indigent defendant in a direct appeal to the Louisiana Supreme Court with four other student-attorneys in her class.

Additionally, she was a finalist of Chancellor’s Cup Senior Appellate challenge, a senior-only appellate advocacy competition at the Law Center in which graduating students offer oral arguments on pending United States Supreme Court cases. Alexier has never been a stranger to hard work. While in law school, she clerked for the Louisiana Department of Insurance and the Louisiana Department of Justice.

Alexier also worked as a nationally ranked associate for LexisNexis and gained valuable experience as a General Counsel intern for United Services Automobile Association (USAA). She graduated in 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree and a diploma in Comparative Law. Alexier made the decision to enter private practice after recognizing there was an immediate need in her community for attorneys that are committed to helping individuals and families who may not have previously worked with an attorney or who may lack firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of the legal system. Many people find it difficult to discuss and prepare for the future. Having an empathetic and knowledgeable attorney who is willing to listen and protect what matters most is not only Alexier’s passion, but her promise.

Ms. Barbour has represented a wide array of clients with diverse business and personal needs. She strives to always ensure you understand your options and what steps are available to help you achieve your goals. Alexier lives in Balch Springs, Texas and is involved in numerous community activities including pro bono work through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program as well as the legal clinic at Friendship-West Baptist Church.
